PR1MUS was the Bank’s enterprise transformation program distilled from the Bank’s 2017 – 2019 SPP to take FirstBank to
undisputed number 1 position in the financial services industry.

FirstBank Nigeria - PR1MUS Enterprise Transformation Program

The creative direction for FirstBank Nigeria’s PR1MUS Enterprise Transformation Program focused on visually representing the bank’s journey from its traditional roots to a modern, innovative future. This transformation was illustrated through a series of conceptual designs showing the evolution of transportation modes, symbolizing progress and innovation.

Designing the Future: Balancing Tradition and Innovation

Balancing FirstBank Nigeria’s heritage with a futuristic vision in the art direction was a major challenge. Simplifying abstract ideas into clear designs while keeping everyone on the same page added to the difficulty.

Introducing the lead creative

Breaking it down

Using extensive Photomanipulation and also assisted with 3D modeling and rendering we were able to come up with the final execution

Finished key visual

Through iterative design and collaborative stakeholder feedback, we arrived at the final key visual.

Other ideas

After finalizing the key visual, we developed additional series to further illustrate the transformation from old to new, ensuring a cohesive narrative continuity.

Sustenance

To shape FirstBank for the future, we have developed several communications outlining our organizational and workforce aspirations.

Be Intuitive

FirstBank aspired to prioritize intuition as a key direction for its future stages.

Be Adaptive

Continuing from prioritizing intuition, FirstBank sought to further enhance its adaptability as a cornerstone for future growth and innovation.

Be Responsive

Following intuition and adaptability, FirstBank aimed to cultivate responsiveness as another pivotal aspect for navigating future challenges and opportunities effectively.

The Changes

Initially crafted with human models, First Bank appreciated the execution but desired a shift towards more illustrative representations rather than human models.

Cascades

We also developed cascades for various digital platforms including screen savers, digital banner ads, desktop banners, and portal banners to extend the visual narrative across multiple channels effectively.

Tacticals

After the initial launch, we utilized various sustenance designs to continue and deepen our communication strategy. These included evolving the visual language through updated graphics, refreshed messaging, and new visual elements across different media channels. This approach ensured ongoing engagement with our audience while reinforcing our brand’s evolving identity and strategic objectives over time.

Avatars

We created avatars known as Mr. and Mrs. First PR1MUS to personify and embody the essence of the PR1MUS initiative. These avatars served as relatable characters that helped communicate key messages and values associated with the transformational journey of FirstBank Nigeria.

Other assets

In addition to avatars like Mr. and Mrs. First PR1MUS, we developed a range of other design assets to support and enrich the PR1MUS initiative.

These included: Social Media Graphics: Customized visuals optimized for various social media platforms to maintain an active and cohesive online presence.

Each of these design assets played a crucial role in reinforcing the PR1MUS narrative, ensuring clarity, engagement, and consistency across all communication channels.
